Colton Eastman almost made it again for the Titans, since he threw 5.2 innings of no hit baseball only an inception after tossing the 50th never hit in history of the program. The performance not only ended up with refusals, but also was enough to reach Fullerton to a win of 5-1 over Cal Poly at Goodwin field.
The Titans got their third straight win also the third straight win of Big West Conference home opening victory. Brett Conine was perfect in the ninth. He pithced a 1-2-3 inning while stroke out to save the win.
Hank Laforte was influential from the leadoff spot, by going 2 for 4 with two RBI, a triple with a walk. In total, the Titans collected doube-digit hits. And they include scoring a double, 2 runs and an RBI. Sahid Valenuela also got 2 hits and a run score. Jace Chamberline went 2-of-4. Daniel Cope joined them with a double, a run scored. Cardenos also gained a run and recorded a hit like as Jairus Richard.
With no doubt, Titans were strong this season. Because the Titans progressed to 10-3. Fullerton was fulled of 3 in the second frame when Cope doubled down the left-field-line to set the things off. Valenzuela reached at a bunt single and Cope moved to the 3th. Pavletich managed to drive in Cope to make it 1-0.
Nevertheless, LoForte succeeded the biggest at the stroke of the frame. He took 1-0 pitch to make it a 3-0 Fullerton win. With the help of Cal Poly’s avoiding the shutout, the Titans came through with a lead.
